British World Champion Jessica Ennis is now a major part of British sporting history after emerging victorious as double World Champion in the heptathlon. At only 24 years old, Jessica's swift progression through the ranks of athletics shows she is a great talent.
Jessica’s rapid advance through the junior and youth competitions meant that she had her first season as a senior athlete in 2006 and in that season she achieved her first senior medal at her first major championships. Jessica also holds the joint British High Jump record for women by jumping a height of 1.95m. Record-breaking ability is exactly what Adidas look for in their endorsed athletes and that's something Jessica has in abundance.
Despite a 12 month hiatus due to injury, she returned in 2009 and has stayed in excellent competitive form ever since, winning gold medals at the 2009 and 2010 World Championships.
